About the films These films were produced as a joint project funded by the Bar Council and the four Inns of Court (Lincoln’s Inn, Inner Temple, Middle Temple and Gray's Inn). In November 2007 the Entry to the Bar Report, chaired by Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, was published. One of its recommendations was that films should be produced for school students and university students to allow them gain a greater understanding about the Bar. It was particularly emphasised that those from less privileged backgrounds should be better able to make an informed decision about whether they wish to aspire to a career as a barrister. The films on this site were produced following those recommendations.
